This is a Table of promise, and because it is a gospel Table, this means that the promise is what God promises to us. The initiative is entirely His. Now if we receive what God promises us, then we must necessarily have it. We cannot receive His promise without having His promise. We are bound by His oath when we accept by faith what He has done. The strength of the oath is His grace.
Grace ties the oath tight; grace is not a tier of loose knots.
Because of our sinful confusions, we think that being under law means distance from sin, and that being under grace means that God is somehow okay with sin. No, it is the other way around. Being under law means being under continual condemnation because of an inability to stop sinning. Being under grace means that sin is no longer your master, and you can begin the very real process of walking in the light—a real walk in real light.

We know that Jacob saw a vision of a glorious ladder, with angels ascending and descending on it. The Lord Jesus tells us in John 1:51 that He is that ladder. He is the true connection between Heaven and earth and, as He has promised, He is here now. Come to Him in true faith, and you will ascend.
So come, and welcome, to Jesus Christ.
