You are here in part to learn a holy impatience. By this I do not mean susceptibility to annoyance or irritability, but rather an impatience with every false thing that tricks itself out as something worthy of admiration. You may be assured that behind every such false claim is an idol, carved from some man’s wooden imagination. By the grace of God, and only by the grace of God, you are being made into an intolerant people. Glory in that kind of intolerance and embrace it.
We live in a time when the lost nation around us is being kept in a perpetual state of relativistic alarm and turmoil, and this is being done so that the bramble men who run our public affairs may step forward daily and offer salvation from the crises they have created. Once you have accepted their false diagnosis, you are ready for their false cures. Do not sit under their teaching – you may not believe their lies at first, but those who sit in the seat of mockers will become mockers.
Remain faithful Christians. You serve the triune God, and no other. You do not serve the unitarian godlet who is constantly invoked around us. Refuse to pledge anything to him/her/it.
Sin and guilt are found in Adam and Adam’s works, and defined by the law of the triune God. They are not defined by the new blasphemy laws enforced by the tolerance police. Anyone who does not see the religious revolution occurring around us daily has not been worshipping God aright.
And salvation is found in Christ alone. Jesus of Nazareth is the only incarnation of the only God, offering the only salvation from the only sin there is, which is rejection of His will, His law, His gospel. Through this intolerant and narrow gate you have been brought. You are therefore the people of God. He has no other nation. Therefore be faithful to Him with a holy ferocity.
