This book is practical commentary on the Sermon on the Mount. Years ago I preached through the Sermon on the Mount, and just recently went back through my notes and polished them up, and filled in some gaps that had somehow mysteriously appeared. I hope that my debts to Martyn Lloyd-Jones (Studies in the Sermon on the Mount) and Thomas Watson (The Beatitudes) are obvious, but in case they are not, I want to acknowledge them here.
