This satiric novel won the Christianity Today Best Fiction Award for 2012, if you can figure that out. It is about a corrupt megachurch pastor who is accused of pretty much the only thing he didn’t do, and about a faithful pastor of a small church across town, who is a reluctant Jonah figure. Called to help, but doesn’t wanna. My goal in this book was to be “funny, dark, and redemptive.”
