I don’t swear by Logos Bible Software, because I am pretty sure that would be a sin. But I do use it, and am regularly blessed by it. The most recent blessing was this nugget found just a moment ago in Cornelius Van Til’s booklet on common grace — “the most basic fact of all facts is the existence of the triune God.” Amen, and there you go. The collected works of Van Til are all available in searchable form as an add-on to the Logos library. Pretty cool stuff.
And now I hear that Logos has just released the newest version of their software, Logos 4.
Not only that, but they have also launched their first iPhone app. Just think, you could be there in church, assiduously tracking down Greek words to aid you in understanding the sermon more deeply, and everybody else up and down the pew will think that you are checking your email or stock prices. The iPhone people need to manufacture a special cover for their phone, so that users can say by that silent means that they are doing spiritual things with the phone during the worship service.
Anyhow, kudos to Logos.
