Regarding Trump’s style of speech, something I noticed early on, he talks like a “normal” person, meaning neighbors, husband, pastors, clerks, everyone, is going to sound slightly irritated and plain spoken. The tone alone signifies trust, normalcy. Most politicians are slick and smooth, formal with their language, and a good chunk of us don’t trust them because it’s as phony as they are.
