If you take a close look at the banner ads above, you will see that I just added one that will take you to a podcast sponsored by New St. Andrews, in which I work through the Westminster Confession of Faith. Each podcast is devoted to one chapter, and the whole thing is largely an audio version of the book, the cover of which you can see around here somewhere. You can click on it also.westminster-systematics

I’ve been enjoying these. One suggestion: use a head mounted mic or sit closer to the monitor or something. Thanks!

PS: just listened to the latest and it sounds much better.

Without the special revelation of Scripture, no one can now be saved?????!!!! You say that a person must be able to “gather enough information” before salvation can occur. And without the production and dissemination of some specific set of data that ain’t just lying around this joint on its own, no saving can get done? The ability to comprehend some specific quantity of theological propositions must be present? Have you had a chance to hear John Durham Peters talking about this term “information” with Ken Myers on Mars Hill Audio?

The origin of the term “in-formation” = Thomist / Aristotelian philosophical concept implies an ultimate bridge between matter and spirit.
Hence perhaps a gnostic means of becoming more than we now are, when used as you do to get us built up enough to receive convertibility.

Maybe take a second look at this gnostic need to be imbued with this spiritual infrastructure?

TECHNICAL PROBLEMS. (1) I went to this page: http://www.nsa.edu/wcf-podcasts/ and tried to “subscribe via itunes” but the button linked to Google Play instead. (2) I found the NSA College Podcast on iTunes, but the feed only goes back to Chapter 6 and no farther. Can we get Chapters 1-5 added to the iTunes feed?

Brian, Thanks for reaching out. My name is Nick, I am the NSA partner in charge of the podcast. We have fixed the iTunes link and reached out to Apple about why the feed is deleting the older episodes. Until they get that fixed you can still download the older episodes from the NSA website. I hope that helps, and thanks again.
