First Time for Everything

I understand that a bunch of you are going to be at the Evangelical Theological Society Conference in San Diego this week (Nov. 14-16). Well, as it turns out, Canon Press is going to be there as a vendor for the first time, and they are going to have books for sale. Now I understand that book-buying is a major part of this event, and that a sort of frenzy comes over otherwise staid theological types. So consider this as a formal invitation to have that frenzy start at the Canon Press book table.

Here is the scenario as I envision it. You were already planning to go, and already planning to refurbish your library, which was starting to look a little anemic. This evening at dinner you casually mention to your wife that Canon Press is going to be there. “They are?” she says, astonished. “Are you sure you have enough money for books? Why don’t you take some of the grocery money?”
