Filling Up the Future

I have the privilege of attending many commencement ceremonies, and they are not the kind that make you despair of western civilization. A week or so ago, we had the delight of seeing the next NSA class go out to make a dent in the world. “Make a big one!” is the substance of their responsibility. Tomorrow my wife and I will be at the Logos graduation ceremony, always a time of great thanksgiving every year for impressive achievement, all by the grace of God. The Lord has been very good to us at Logos. And last night Nancy and I were blessed by attending a homeschool commencement, with two graduates of two different homeschools. Godly Christian education is a variegated gift, with many aspects. One graduate last night was Jessica Rose Bauer and the other was Mary Katherine Qualls. Both young ladies are godly, extraordinarily accomplished, and both will be attending college in the fall on a National Merit Scholarship. God is pouring out His blessings on us, and they are filling up the future.
